Microcontrollers are everywhere, and virtually every modern design relies upon them. We have a broad background covering many of the most useful, functional and capable microcontroller platforms currently available, including Atmel, Microchip and Texas Instruments.
There is no doubt that 32-bit microcontrollers are the new standard. ARM7 and Cortex-M3 devices that used to be cost-prohibitive are becoming increasingly affordable, with further price decreases on the way. In the meantime, they are achieving higher levels of capability and integration than ever before.
However, 16-bit devices are by no means obsolete. 16-bit platforms still boast the highest level of analog integration available, with capabilities far outstripping even the most advanced 32-bit processors. Prices have dropped from double-digits to low single-digits, or even less.
In addition to hardware design, we also provide firmware programming services for several popular microcontrollers. Click the link at left for more details.
